Contributing and support

A useful report shows what you expected, what happened, and the smallest example that reproduces it.

Report a problem

Use Flux issues for the desktop app and fluxplot issues for Python plotting. Include the application or package version, operating system, steps to reproduce, and relevant error text. A screenshot helps with a layout problem; a small script and its output bundle help with a plot problem.

For a linked plot, include the SVG or GLB and its manifest. Include the recipe and a small sample of input data only when needed to reproduce regeneration. Replace private or unpublished material with a minimal example.

For agent setup, AI → Copy diagnostics runs the connection checks and copies their results. See connection troubleshooting.

Improve a guide

Every guide has an Improve this page link. Website sources live in fluxsci.github.io, independently of the application. Report unclear instructions, broken links or an example that does not run. State which step and version you used.
